          Customer questions & answers

Question: Is there anyway to vent my portable ac?
Answer: I've seen these ports that you can install to run a chimney pipe for a small wood burning stove. You screw a piece in from inside/outside the tent and cut out the canvas. I bet you could also run an ac tube in and out through it.

Question: How does this tent do in cold season camping; 30degrees or less?
Answer: I camped out while ice fishing in Maine in temps down to 0, I was by myself in the Prota deluxe 10 x 14. I had a Mr. Heater 9000 btu heater. Tent stayed about 20 degrees warmer then outside on low 4000 btu setting. The tent was noticeably warmer then outside. There was a lot of condensation on the inside of the tent though. The only way to prevent this is to ventilate, which lets out heat. The tent held up great in the wind, I love it!

Question: Is it 10x14 including the awning, ir is the tent itself 10x14?
Answer: The footprint itself is 10x14. Awning isn't included in that size. We love ours!

Question: If forced to pitch this tent on an asphalt slab, maybe the only place in a campground, is that possible?
Answer: Only if the slab is smaller than the tents footprint. These tents need to be securely staked down, they are not freestanding.

Question: Does it have a lower vent/flap?
          Answer: Yea
