Answer: The rain will filter through the shade. It is for sun protection.

Question: Is there a way to attach one side to the side of the house?
Answer: I'm sure you could rig something but out of the box it does not include any mechanism to secure to a wall or side of a house.

Question: What is the lowest interior height? Is there a way to make it taller?
Answer: Assembled Dims: L 192.00 IN/D 144.00 IN/H 89.50 IN/ 746.15 Lbs. The only way to make it taller would be to use footers.

Question: How does the sunshade open and close? Can this be replaced when worn?
Answer: The sun shade does not open and close.
